The Heartdrop

The heart essence. The heart blood. Blood is the humor associated with the heart and its essence or juice, which it circulates to nourish all the organs, tissues and cells, including its own cells. This is a symbol of our innermost spiritual core and its vital essence. The core of our heart, the essence of our heart, is the meaning of life. Buddha said, “I have discovered a state and it is like Amrita.” Amrita is a magical, celestial elixir of natural perfection, our real, true condition. Our own innate condition is this natural perfection and the teachings of the heart drop symbolize the core of dharma which makes us acquainted with our authentic real condition of natural perfection. Once we are introduced to and brought to know our real condition, then it is possible to resolve into the state of perfect awakening and enlightenment. The heart yearns to know it real essence and nothing else will satisfy it. There is no object, person or relation that can satisfy this yearning. Prayer, meditation and finding a teacher are how we can come to know this true nature. Try to connect with your heart in the way that seems most intuitive to you and come into contact with this deep yearning within the heart. This is a gradual unfolding, like the opening of a lotus, it is a very creative and individual process, but by attending to our hearts over time and really tuning into this deeper level of being, watch what unfolds from that. We have wishes, and in our heart is a wish. Try to connect with that deepest wish and may your wishes be fulfilled.
